Enrolled Nurse

Our client in the Rustenburg area in the Medical industry is looking for a Enrolled Nurse

Roles and Responsibilities include the following:

PRIMARY HEALTHCARE FUNCTIONS:

Health Risk Assessments and recording them on IRP
Wound dressing
Conducting ECG and clinical diagnostic tests
Assisting doctors with in- room procedures
Cleaning of instruments
Monitoring and filing of blood results and ensuring appropriate follow up appointments

RECEPTION DUTIES:

Prompt and professional answering of telephone
Handling of appointment books for  the doctors and visiting auxiliary services
Greeting and assisting walk in members
Pulling the member folders, and ensuring that stickers and clinical notes is available for doctors consultation
Ensuring that all filing is done before the end of the work day
Booking of specialist appointments and obtaining authorization
Sending SMS’s to members with appointment dates and times on a daily basis
Booking of theatre cases, requesting authorization and liaising with reception and case managers for booked procedures
Assisting walk in patients to obtain specialist appointments and authorization
Checking membership and benefits available, and adding notes on system
Ensuring that all doctors rooms are stocked with stationary(scripts, referrals, chronic forms, consent forms)
Checking benefits for each patient and recording doctor’s visits on customer care.

CUSTOMER CARE FUNCTIONS:

Answering all general customer care queries as well as membership assistance
Escalating any queries to the Centre Manager
Recording of customer care queries on PAS system
Retrieving of tax certificates and membership certificates

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS:

Capturing of stats on system
Ordering of stationery once authorised
Transaction analysis reports
Assist with stock taking

Minimum Requirements

Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse
Computer literacy
Drivers licence and own transport as will be required to assist other medical centres
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Minimum of two years relevant working experience
